Tina Smothers grew up in Dodgeville, Michigan, and has been captivating audiences since she was a kid herself. She knows what it feels like to stand in front of a crowd, take a deep breath, and let your voice fly. That’s why her voice lessons go beyond the technical. Yes, students learn breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal agility—but they also learn to trust themselves, take creative risks, and enjoy the process.
After earning her Associate of Music Degree from Chipola College and a Bachelor of Music in Voice from Bluefield University, Tina dedicated her life to teaching young voices how to soar. Today, she leads vocal instruction for Ignite the Light’s performance programs and runs her private coaching studio, Voice by Tina, serving students throughout Loudoun County.
