High School Theater and Vocal Training in Loudoun County

If you’re looking for a serious, well-run high school theater and vocal training program in Loudoun County, BLAZES at Ignite The Light might be the right fit. Designed for students in 8th through 12th grade (rising 8th through rising college for summer program), this program focuses on building real skills in acting, singing, and stage performance — all in a supportive, encouraging environment.

BLAZES isn’t just about putting on shows (though we do that, too). It’s a pre-professional program that gives students the chance to grow, both artistically and personally. Our cast members work hard to bring full-length musicals to life. They learn what it takes to perform at a high level — from auditions to rehearsals to final performances. We emphasize commitment, consistency, and teamwork.

Rehearsals are held on Thursday nights from 8:00 to 10:30 PM. Performances take place in the Fall, Spring, and Summer, with additional performance opportunities available for those who want more stage time. All roles are cast through auditions, which means students learn how to prepare and present themselves in a professional setting.

Beyond the stage, BLAZES also builds a sense of community. Students form strong connections with one another as they work side by side toward shared goals. It’s a place where performers feel seen, supported, and challenged — without unnecessary pressure or drama.
