My daughter has been involved with Tina Smothers and the Ignite the Light Theater program, on stage, backstage and as a JTF participant. Through the professional level training that she has received, she has reached a level to begin going on Broadway auditions. Not only has she learned about all of the workings of the theater but I’m happy that she is able to do it while being surrounded in a warm and nurturing environment. Miss Tina helps these kids realize their full performing potential, but more importantly tries to foster the importance of kindness and being good humans. - Joanie M

My 6 year old daughter started classes at ignite last year & we are so happy there! She has been in 2 productions. The classes are fun & production weekend is always exciting to see all the talent & hard work the kids and teachers put in. The shows are great! My daughter has come out of her shell and gained a lot of confidence in the last year since starting classes. She has really found her 2nd home there:) Can’t recommend Ignite enough! I honestly don’t even know where to start with how much Ignite The Light has changed me for the better. It’s not just something I’m a part of—it’s something that’s really shaped who I am. It’s helped me grow not only as a dancer, but as a performer and as a person. I’ve become more confident in myself and more willing to take risks, even when I’m scared.

Because of Ignite, I’ve improved so much in my dancing, and I’ve also gotten better at singing and acting. It’s helped me become a more well-rounded performer, but also someone who believes in themselves more. Without Ignite, I honestly don’t think I would have the same confidence or passion that I have now.
